FUNDACIÓN VALENCIAPORT is a non-profit private organization, with more than 60
employees, located in Valencia (Spain), that provides services to the port and logistics cluster.
It is an Applied Research, Innovation, Training and International Cooperation centre dedicated
to the design, implementation and execution of R&D&I and consultancy projects specialized in
logistics, transport and ports, aimed at improving the competitiveness of companies and
institutions in the port logistics sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a graduate with a Naval or Maritime Engineering degree or equivalent, to
join a multi-skilled team specialized in R&D, innovation and consultancy projects in the field of
maritime transport, logistics and ports. More precisely, experience in some of the following
topics will be valued:

• Energy efficiency, alternative fuels.
• Operations (safety, security, automation).
• Sea-port interaction.
• Participation in consultancy projects in the transport and logistics sector.
• Participation in EU funded projects.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES

• Naval or Maritime Engineering degree or equivalent. MSc and PhD will be recognized.
• Experience in the above listed fields will be highly recognized.
• Fluent in English (excellent speaking and writing skills). Minimum level C1 or similar.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Availability to travel.
